We went to the Flying Rhino before a family member’s play at Clark University. This restaurant comes highly regarded by the Phantom Gourmet — and it’s easy to see why!
We started off with the Hummus plate — we got the small version, which was a cup — and it was more than enough. It came with nice chunks of feta and olives mixed in, and was delicious on the whole wheat pita that was lightly toasted and cut into pie-shaped wedges. This was more than enough for 6 people at the table to share.
Another family member got a cup of chili — and said that it was very good. And another couple got the Fireballs — Brussel Sprouts in a hot sauce — very tasty from what they said.
My partner and I shared the sweet heat scallops — presented in a bowl with risotto and a very nice creamy sauce. This also came with a Caesar salad — which was more than enough to share. To top it — we were given two cornbread muffins with nice whipped butter.
Other people at the table got burgers and really enjoyed them.
It was easy to see why the bar side was hopping, and the table side was packed with families!

A group of us went for lunch. We all enjoyed our meals. Excellent service. Great menu – large selection of items. We especially liked the art and decor, which we learned the owner created, including a really nice mosaic wall. Definitely recommend to other.

First time going and it was amazing. Everything was delicious, they catered to my food allergy and gave us delicious corn bread while we waited for my pasta to be redone, since it was a bit spicy. The beef teriyaki with peanut sauce was my favorite. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. Great food and great service. I will definitely be going back.

Great food! Friendly staff! Sometimes difficult to get a seat at the bar. Their gluten free buns are really good. You just can’t go wrong no matter what you order.

House made corn muffins with maple butter to start, yes please! Complimentary. We recently moved from Sacramento, where brunch is the thing, and have struggled to find a solid brunch spot in the Worcester area. We found it. Good quality, strong coffee and an assortment of adult brunch beverages. A number of unique combinations on the brunch menu. I went with the tater tot bowl–think play on poutine. It was awesome and large–I had to take half home. The BF is a chef so is picky–he got the chicken and waffles breakfast sando and fell in love. We will be back and are eager to try the lunch and dinner menus.

They food was amazing. The kale salad was delicious. My main meal the people’s choice pork was so tender and juicy. Warm corn bread muffin, great experience! Can’t wait for this summer to have the watermelon salad!!!!!

This is a fun place. I have been here with my kids and with just my wife. Great for both situations. The food is always great and they have some fun and different options on the menu without being completely out there.
The atmosphere is also nice, good music and a great staff. Worth a visit.

My mom and I went here on Saturday night before seeing a show at the DCU center. We told the front desk and wait staff that we were seeing a show. They were very attentive to us and we were able to leave on time. The food was beyond delicious. I got the Number 3 which was amazing. The food was seasoned well and the plate looked beautiful. The cocktails, kale salad, and cornbread also made the meal much more enjoyable! If I am ever in the Worcester area again, I would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place to my friends!

We tried the Flying Rhino during Restaurant Week when you get a 3 course meal for $24.16. What a nice surprise! It’s a varied eclectic menu but all of our appetizers, entrees, but most especially our desserts were wonderful. The beignets smelled so good – that must be what heaven smells like! And they tasted every bit as wonderful. I have to say it’s worth the trip just for them.
